Oh what a night! Suuuuper fun :D Sabrina and I were very
excited and had a blast :) We took the subway and got the VIP party. At first
we felt a little out of place, because anyone who was going to a VIP party,
usually could afford it. Hahaha. So some people were dressed really ritzy, but
I decided that I think I’m a pretty cool person Hahaha so I acted like it, and
we had a blast! The food was really yummy too! I can’t decide if that’s because
it was genuinely good food, or if it was just because my taste buds were
craving sandwiches and pizza. And they had these really good fruit bowls with
dragon fruit, watermelon, giant grapes, cantaloupe and honeydew. It was very
good :) And I met a black man who happened to be the security guard, and his
name was Frederick. Made my day. He took a picture with me :) At first Sabrina
and I were just keeping to ourselves, but then I decided it was time to mingle.
She looked at me as if to say “yeah no, I’m good at being invisible”. So I told
her we were going to work on her people skills. Hahaha. Every white person I
saw (and I only did that because there was a 75% chance that they spoke
English) I asked where they were from and we started a conversation. It was
great fun! We met two awesome ladies and it turns out they only live 7 minutes
by taxi from our house! In the same complex as one of our visiting teachers!
They were saying that one of them, Angie, never goes on vacation because she
has dogs, so we offered our service (serve to convert, right??? Hahahaha jk…but
not really haha). It was great fun.
The front row was a blast as
well!!! Adam can sure sing wonderfully. Not to mention he’s extremely
attractive….haha. All in all a great night and much needed stress reliever :D.
